Punk Side Story
Choreographer: Dominic Wong
A Funky Tale of Love and Tragedy
In the darkest corner of the city, two ethnic teenage gangs fight for territory in the neighbourhood. When Tony, the hero of the Jets, falls in love with Maria, the sister of Bernardo, who is the leader of the Sharks, the rivalry intensifies and the lovers are doomed to a tragic ending...
Dominic Wong's imaginative new work Punk Side Story is packed with energy, retelling West Side Story, one of the greatest musicals of all time, in his unique choreographic language with pantomimic dramatisation.
Fairy Tales – To Be Continued
Choreographer: Noel Pong
An Unusual Adventure in the Wicked Wonderland
In fairy tales and folklore we grew up with, the princess always meets her prince and they ride off to the sunset, living happily ever after away from evil witches, stepmothers and villains. But do they, really? In Fairy Tales – To Be Continued, Noel Pong takes you to a wicked wonderland where fairy tales do not always end happily. What if Cinderella picks the wrong slipper? What if Swan Lake turns into Swamp Lake? What if the prince gets lost on his way to the castle where Sleeping Beauty is waiting for his kiss?
