One Minute Jumping Frames Dance Video Competition 2019

The “One-Minute Jumping Frames Dance Video Competition” has given directors and choreographers a chance to explore dance and movement for the screen every other year since 2009. Pick up your camera. Share your moves – 2D, 3D, MV, VR, animation – any medium that captures your motion and your imagination!

How to enter?

1. Upload your One-Minute Jumping Frames video to your video account.

2. Hashtag #OneMinuteJumpingFrames in the video description and in the title of your work.

3. Send the video link to info@ccdc.com.hk with your full name, contact number and e-mail address.

The One-Minute Jumping Frames International Dance Video Competition is adjudicated by a panel of dance and film professionals. Jumping Frames may commission selected winners to develop a 5 to 15 minute dance video to be premiered at the 2020 Jumping Frames International Dance Video Festival.

Entry Regulations:

– The entry must be an original work between 1 minute and 1 minute 59 seconds in duration.
– The entrant must be the sole copyright holder of the work submitted. If there is more than one copyright holder, the entrant must be designated by all copyright holders to be the contact person in the competition.
– By entering the competition, the entrant authorises the organiser to use clips or stills of the work submitted for promotional and curatorial purposes, and in publications and publicity materials online and offline, related to Jumping Frames International Dance Video Festival.
– By entering the competition, the entrant agrees to abide by the regulations of the competition.
– One-Minute Jumping Frames Dance Video Competition and Jumping Frames International Dance Video Festival are organised by City Contemporary Dance Company. The organiser has the final decision on all issues, including but not limited to, the regulations stated, and reserves the right of revising or changing the regulations stated.
