He was awarded a scholarship from the Asian Cultural Council to participate in the American Dance Festival and joined the Hong Kong City Contemporary Dance Company from 2001 to 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Lam received 2012 Hong Kong Dance Award \u201cOutstanding Independent Dance\u201d and \u201cOutstanding Performance by Male Dancer\u201d for his performance in The Moment I Saw It.<\/p>\n<p>Lam is an experienced dance teacher and Pilate instructor with over 20 years in the field. Since 1998, lam has taught Pilates at Fitness Centre and has been involved with CCDC Dance Center since 2002, instructing Body Work and Modern Dance.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Lam instructs Contemporary Dance, Duo works and Contact Improvisation at The HK Academy for Performing Arts since 2012. She collaborated with numerous renowned local and international choreographers and performed with the group in various countries, including Israel, Japan, Australia, Korea, and also in Beijing and Taiwan. She was nominated for the \u201cOutstanding Female Dancer\u201d at the Hong Kong Dance Awards in 2017.<br \/>\nHer choreographic works include Wandering Stone (2016) and 1\/2 TBC (2021)<br \/>\nRecognizing the physical challenges faced by dancers, Mak aims to deepen her understanding of her body.
