Noel Pong, Artist in Residence of CCDC, joined the Company in 1997 after graduating from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with first class honours in Modern Dance. She is a homegrown choreographer celebrated for combining elements of dance and drama.<\/p>\n
Rainy Days and Mondays\u2026<\/em>(2006), her first choreographic work for CCDC, was restaged at the 3rd<\/sup> Guangdong Modern Dance Festival and Dance Trinity<\/em> in the Hong Kong Dance Festival 2006. She was commissioned by \u201cJumping Frames International Dance Video Festival\u201d to produce a dance video based on Rainy Days and Mondays\u2026<\/em> in 2008. Her other choreographic works include A Walk on the Cloud<\/em> (2006); He Loves and She Loves<\/em> (2007); Crime Scene<\/em> (2009); Fairy Tales \u2013 To Be Continued<\/em> (2010); Off Screen<\/em> (2011); Inside Out<\/em> in Strip Teaser <\/em>(2012); The Buying Game<\/em> (2013); The Buying Game 2.0<\/em> (2014); Happy Birthday?<\/em> (2015); Leaving & Living<\/em> in She Says<\/em>, He Talks <\/em>(2016), Nuts\u2019hell<\/em> in Come Across<\/em> (2019), Joyeux No\u00ebl <\/em>(2020) and De-islandsation<\/em> (2021).<\/p>\nPong is regarded as one of \u201cHong Kong\u2019s most promising choreographers\u201d by South China Morning Post (SCMP)<\/em>. Crime Scene<\/em> was selected by SCMP<\/em> as one of the \u201cBest Dances\u201d in 2009 and Off Screen<\/em> received the Hong Kong Dance Awards for Outstanding Choreography in 2012. Happy Birthday?<\/em> was selected as Best Dance Show in The Hecklers by HKELD. She has also been invited to restage several works at the Guangdong Modern Dance Festival.
