Alliah Xandra TORTE<\/span><\/b><\/h4>\n
Dancer<\/h6>\n

Alliah Xandra Reyes Torte,\u00a0started training as a full scholar at Philippine High School for the Arts, and graduated with First Class Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance) from The HKAPA in 2024.<\/p>\n

She was also a recipient of HKAPA Student Awards, The Director’s Award and the Schools’ Outstanding Student Award in Dance. During her studies, she was awarded a full scholarship to attend the Nederlands Dans Theater Summer Intensive in 2023 and later joined Akram Khan Company\u2019s international production, Jungle Book Reimagined, as an intern dancer.<\/p>\n

Her professional engagements include being a featured artist at the NeoFilipino performance at Cultural Center of the Philippines in 2019 and \u201cColossus\u201d as part of the Hong Kong Arts Festival in 2022. She also performed in Stream of Dust, co-produced by CCDC and the School of Dance, HKAPA.<\/p>\n

She also played the lead in Sharon Vazanna\u2019s “Universal Bodies, Universal Souls,” directed by Maurice Lai, which was officially selected for the 2026 Pittsburgh International Dance Film Festival.<\/p>\n

She joined City Contemporary Dance Company in 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
