As a cultural ambassador of Hong Kong, CCDC has performed on the world\u2019s foremost dance stages and at notable festivals since 1979. CCDC has brought extraordinary stage performances and a variety of cultural exchange activities, including dance video screenings, dance camps, seminars, master classes and workshops to international audiences.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
In recent years, CCDC visited Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Taiwan, Saint-Etienne and Rennes (France), Tel Aviv (Israel), Daegu (Korea), Niigata (Japan) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) to share Hong Kong\u2019s unique cultural identity and contemporary artistic soul.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Space is both concrete and abstract: it is the tangible distance at hand, and the intangible boundary. Space acquires warmth and perception because it carries life. The body constructs space, while at the same time being sculpted by it.<\/p>\n
INterstices<\/em> is inspired by the sense of space in Hong Kong\u2014dense yet full of energy. On stage, light, video, sound, and objects are used to create a flowing spatial environment. When people are placed within it, emotions, relationships, and stories emerge.
