As a recipient of several scholarships during her studies, she has toured extensively overseas with The HKAPA. Lam was a member of City Contemporary Dance Company CCDC Dance Centre’s dance training scholarship schemes \u201cYoung Sky’ and ‘WuDaoQingNian’. She joined CCDC as a full time dancer in 2007 and becoming a Senior Dance Artist in 2022. Lam received the \u2018Outstanding Performance by a Female Dancer\u2019 at the 24th Hong Kong Dance Awards.<\/p>\n

In recent years, Lam has focused on dance training to explore and advocate the physical and mental health development of children and youth. She is now a tutor of adult and children dance courses and dance training scholarship scheme ‘CCDC Junior\u2019 and she serves as the Manager (Curriculum) of Education and Outreach department at CCDC.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][\/vc_tta_accordion][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row enable_arrows_animation=”no”][vc_column][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row enable_arrows_animation=”no”][vc_column width=”1\/4″]

She has been trained in modern dance, ballet, Chinese dance, Jazz dance, yoga, etc. She was awarded several scholarships during her study at the Academy. She participated in the CCDC Dance Centre\u2019s WuDaoQingNian project in 2006 and 2007, and performed in several dance exchange programmes, including the International Dance Festival 2008 held in Bangkok. In 2007, she went to the American Dance Festival in the US for a scholarship, during which she was selected by the William Forsythe Company to receive training in the Forsythe\u2019s Project. Her recent performances could be seen in Dancing Sketch (an outreach programme of the Hong Kong Dance Company) and New Dance Platform 2009 (Y-Space). Breaking, a dance she created, was presented at the Site-Specific Project – Build Motivation (E-Side Dance Company). She participated in musical production Field of Dreams (Hong Kong Repertory Theatre) in 2008.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][\/vc_tta_accordion][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/4″]

He graduated in 2008 from the City University of Hong Kong with a Certificate in Fitness, Health and 2013 with a BFA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][\/vc_tta_accordion][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/4″]

\n \t\t <\/div>\n<\/div>[vc_tta_accordion active_section=”99″ collapsible_all=”true”][vc_tta_section title=”Janet Wu” tab_id=”1607590148624-efe8762a-8ce2″][vc_column_text]Born and raised in HK, Janet Wu graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with the Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours) Degree in Dance, majoring in contemporary dance. She was a resident artist of Unlock Dancing Plaza and currently is a freelance artist and dance teacher.
\nDuring her study, she was awarded Jacky Chan Charitable Foundation Scholarship, The Jessie Ho Scholarship in Contemporary Dance, received twice the Mainland Exchange scholarship from HSBC to Shanghai and Inner Mongolia for cultural exchange. She performed with the City Contemporary Dance Company in a dance piece called \u2018Dao Extraordinary\u2019 for their 30th anniversary celebration, represented the HKAPA to perform in Shanghai Expo, participated in the America Dance Festival in U.S and followed Van Huynh Company to perform in M1 Singapore Fringe Festival.<\/p>\n

After graduation, she kept working with many different organizations and choreographers, for trying varied styles of choreography.
