I\/YOU LOOK AT YOU\/ME<\/strong><\/p>\n

City Contemporary Dance Company is partnering with Freespace to present three events based on the theme of \u201cI\/YOU LOOK AT YOU\/ME\u201d for the second year of the three-year CCDC in Residence programme.<\/p>\n

Mr Blank<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 a dance theatre experience co-created by CCDC Resident Choreographer\u00a0Sang Jijia<\/strong>\u00a0and award-winning playwright\u00a0Janice Poon<\/strong>\u00a0that premiered in 2018 is the first of the three events. The piece challenges the use of surveillance cameras in our everyday lives, and features the use of closed circuit television inside the performance venue. Social Distancing Theatre\u00a0Joyeux No\u00ebl<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 a piece choreographed and performed by CCDC resident artist\u00a0Noel Pong<\/strong>, is the second. During the performance, the audience will be invited to move freely inside the venue while respecting social distancing rules. In some sessions, they are welcome to take photos and post on social media.<\/p>\n

The Pandora Studio<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is a free live streaming event which will be enable the public to view Hong Kong dance artists, includes\u00a0Yuri Ng, Dominic Wong, Kong Wing Yee, Kwok Tsz Ying<\/strong>\u00a0rehearsing live at The Studio, thereby demonstrating how the awareness of an audience can influence the artists\u2019 creative process.<\/p>\n

These three programmes will be presented from 23 to 30 Dec 2020 at West Kowloon Cultural District or online.<\/p>\n
