

Alliah Xandra TORTE
Dancer
Alliah Xandra Reyes Torte began her training as a full scholar at the Philippine High School for the Arts. She graduated with First Class Honours in Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance) from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) under a four-year non-local full scholarship.
She was also a recipient of HKAPA Student Awards, “The Director’s Award” and the “Schools’ Outstanding Student Award in Dance”. During her studies, she was awarded a full scholarship to attend the Nederlands Dans Theater Summer Intensive in 2023, and the Jasmin Vardimon Company’s Summer Intensive. She later joined Akram Khan Company’s international production, Jungle Book Reimagined, as an Intern Dancer.
Her professional engagements include being a featured artist at Colossus by Stephanie Lake as part of the Hong Kong Arts Festival in 2022. She also performed in Stream of Dust, co-produced by City Contemporary Dance Company and the School of Dance, HKAPA.
Alliah has worked and performed works of Sang Jijia, Jiří Kylián, Crystal Pite, Sita Ostheimer, Hung Tsai-hsi, Dimo Milev, Sharon Vazanna, Judith Sánchez Ruíz, Leila McMillan, Dam Van Huynh, Li Yongjing, Jorge Jauregui Allue, and Stephanie Lake.
She also played the lead in Sharon Vazanna’s Universal Bodies, Universal Souls, directed by Maurice Lai, which was officially selected for the 2026 Pittsburgh International Dance Film Festival. She joined City Contemporary Dance Company in 2025.
