School Curriculum

One of CCDC’s mission is to introduce dance arts into school curriculum. Besides teaching dance technique, history, creative elements, dance appreciation and improvisation, the curriculum also aims at developing the students’ cognitive sense as well as self-confidence.

During the 2002-2003 school year, we have launched a pilot project at Pentecostal Lam Hon Kwong School, and we have designed a year round dance curriculum for its F. 3 students. Being a selective subject, “dance” is open to F. 1 to F. 5 students in the coming school year at LHK School.
