A brand-new series ‘The Connected Stage’ launches with A Triple Bill, bringing together three choreographers whose practices traverse cultures and geographies. Through three distinctive works, the programme offers a vibrant glimpse into the diverse expressions of contemporary dance.
William Forsythe’s iconic work N.N.N.N unfolds like a string quartet for the body—performed by four emerging male dancers from CCDC, it lets us hear movement and see music. In The Fountain of Blood, Hung Tsai-hsi draws inspiration from poetry and her choreographic reflections in painting, exploring new visualities in contemporary dance-making. LUNA, co-created by Sita Ostheimer and seven CCDC female dancers, awakens the instinctual and intuitive body, weaving emotion and connection through finely tuned, powerful ensemble work.
