Shoreline Spectrum: When Hong Kong Glimmers
Following their acclaimed 2025 performance at East Coast Park, WuDaoQingNian, from City Contemporary Dance Company’s Education and Outreach Department returns to the East Coast waterfront. Under the guidance of veteran choreographer Peggy LAM, the young dancers will present a new contemporary dance work on the newly opened East Coast Boardwalk (Eastern Section)
Located in Hong Kong Island’s Eastern District, the East Coast Boardwalk stretches along the shoreline from Fortress Hill to Quarry Bay. As sunlight sparkles on the horizon, dancers embody light itself – from a gentle glow, to flashes of struggle and finally merging into a radiant spectrum of harmony. Moving in rhythm with the changing play of light, the dancers blend seamlessly with the environment. Audiences are invited to experience the city’s vibrant energy from day to night.
