The HOTPOT East Asia Dance Platform was launched as a collaborative effort from City Contemporary Dance Festival (CCDF), Seoul International Dance Festival, and Yokohama Dance Collection. The platform is dedicated to promoting contemporary dance in East Asia to the world by bringing together their collective experience, expertise and international networks.
Presented by ‘City Contemporary Dance Festival’, the 5th edition of ‘HOTPOT East Asia Dance Platform’ will be held in Hong Kong from 17 to 19 November 2023. It will focus on original programmes from neighbouring cities and feature a series of splendid dance-related activities. Overseas and local artists, international arts festival curators and audiences will join and enjoy a showcase of contemporary dance from across Asia.
City Contemporary Dance Company is now seeking submissions from dance companies and/or independent artists in the China region to perform at the ‘HOTPOT East Asia Dance Platform’ of the ‘City Contemporary Dance Festival 2023’. The Festival will provide transport, accommodation, subsistence allowance and performance fees for the selected works and artists to Hong Kong.
Criteria
- Original contemporary dance works within 3 years
- Length of work: 10 to 60 minutes
