Over the past 45 years, CCDC has inspired and elated audiences in Hong Kong and around the world with its superb performances. Executive Director
Responsibilities
As a key member of the top leadership, alongside the Artistic Director, the Executive Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future. Reporting to the Board of Directors, he or she is responsible for the overall performance of the Company, including but not limited to:
- To collaborate closely with the Artistic Director to ensure the effective execution of the Company’s vision and mission
- To develop and implement business and development strategies, plans and goals and provide leadership and guidance to the team to drive organizational success
- To develop and maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders, local, regional and overseas
- To oversee the day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the overall performance of the company
- To oversee the company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- To ensure fulfilment with the agreements with the Government and other funding bodies
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be an inspiring leader and team player with vision and passion in strengthening CCDC’s position as a prominent international cultural institution. He or she should possess the following:
- University qualifications with 12-15 years relevant experience in arts administration, of which 6-10 years in senior positions
- A strong knowledge and network in the performing arts sector
- Good business sense, organizational, management and negotiation skills, and the ability to multi-task and work in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Chinese and English, and proficiency in Putonghua
- Proven leadership ability with excellent people management skills
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder management and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Experienced in fundraising with a successful track record
- Have substantial experience in dealing with government bureaux and departments

ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER (PROGRAMME)
Report to the Project Manager, you’re required to:
- Manage programme coordination and logistics of the Company’s productions, including ticketing, customer service, archival records and related administration works
- Manage venue booking to suit the needs of the company’s programme plan
- Prepare touring logistics and visa applications
- Organise previews, talks and other programme plus events and audience building activities
- Prepare artistic proposals, creative briefs, artist profiles and pitching materials to solicit business opportunities
- Handle the local hospitality for overseas guest artists, business associates and collaborators
- Handle enquiries and ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- University graduate with minimum 4 year of solid relevant experience in arts administration
- Demonstrate a strong passion for arts and culture, particularly in the field of Dance
- Be a quick thinker, confident and well-organised, flexible, and have the ability to multitask and do what it takes to get the job done
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines; willing to work overseas and irregular hours
- Hong Kong permanent resident aged 18 or above

You will be required to:
- Join the team to support the implementation of marketing and promotion strategy for the company’s programmes.
- Support duties including digital marketing, CRM and business development in the industry of performing arts.
- Connect with the industry to maintain and explore marketing and collaboration opportunities.
- Perform general administrative duties and provide support to the Programme & Marketing Department.
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant disciplines.

- Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and can-do spirit.
- Keen interest in art and culture, especially for performing arts and dance.
- 0-2 years working experience, knowledge in digital marketing and data analysis is a plus. Less experience or fresh graduate would be considered.
- Excellent in both written and spoken Chinese and English. Putonghua is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office, graphic and video editing software/tools;
- High proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, graphic and video editing is a plus.
- Willing to work at irregular hours, including weekends, if needed.

CCDC Dance Centre offers a wide range of dance courses, outreach and partnership schemes to promote arts and support artists. The Centre is now looking for suitable candidates for the following positions:
- Plan and design Dance Course/ Children Dance Programme;
- Execute teaching duties and maintain effective class management;
- Co-ordinate with teachers, students and staff;
- Take attendance, assess students, report duties, etc.;
- Review and evaluate teaching process.
Requirements:
- Advanced Certificate or above, major in Dance;
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (fresh graduates with higher qualifications would also be considered);
- Willing to work under pressure, mature and self-motivated;
- Dedicated to dance education;
- Effective communication skills and willing to cooperate with others.
