Instructors

Graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Musical Theatre and Ballet.

Wong is currently working as a freelance dancer, teacher and choreographer. He has performed with E-Side Dance Company, Y-Space, Hong Kong Ballet and Christine Liao School of Ballet. Recent performances include: Emerging Choreographers Seris 1, Taking Off – Narcissus and Echo (Justyne Li, 2007); Y/N, commissioned dance video for Jumping Frames, Hong Kong Dance Festival 2006 (Dick Wong). Recent choreographies included A Serpent Eating Its Own Tail for Fringe Festival, Bare Stage Project ’07; A place for us (Tap Ensemble, 2006); Angel #666 vs Demon #999 for Hong Kong Dance Festival 2006, Independence; Studio Storm (2006). In 2003, he found the Tap Ensemble with Anthony Suen.

In 2007, Wong has passed the Australia’s Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD), Tapping Advanced Gold, with Honours plus.

Graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), majoring in Musical Theatre Dance. He is the Founder of Musical Trio, local musical creative group in Hong Kong. Eric has attained the ISTD Intermediate Tap Certificate with distinction. During his program of study, he was awarded scholarships from the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation Scholarships and has performed on a study tour to Kwong Tung.

Eric was active in various genres of art groups. He was the performer for 3AMI, HKREP, HKDC, DanceArt, 2_on_stage, Actor Family, 7A drama group among others.

Eric also has taught at numerous groups, including CCDC dance centre, HKAPA.  Eric is currently a freelance performer, choreographer and dance teacher.
