Pilates Mat Work
This course offers a systematic approach to strengthening the core muscles and retraining movement patterns. With a focus on core-led movement, the course helps participants improve muscle imbalances and address common postural issues such as hyperkyphosis, hyperlordosis, and valgus knee. Enhancing core stability from the inside out promotes better posture and a more refined physique.
The class incorporates dynamic stretching and mobility training to improve movement fluidity, allowing the body to move with greater ease and coordination. Exercises are thoughtfully tiered to suit different fitness levels—beginners can build confidence with foundational movements, while more experienced participants are encouraged to take on greater challenges and progress toward their ideal posture and form.
A variety of props—including foam roller, softball, stool, and resistance band—are used to support stretching and intensify workouts. With the introduction of controlled instability, these tools further activate deep core muscles and enhance body awareness and control.
