Contemporary Dance Introductory
The course is designed for students who have never or rarely been exposed to contemporary dance. It mainly focuses on practicing basic skills and using simple and easy methods to make it easier and faster for students to accept and understand contemporary dance.

Beginner Mix Dance Introductory
The course will divides into three modules and targets for students who have no prior dancing experience.
Students will learn the basic techniques of various dance styles (Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz). It allows students’ bodies to experience a range of dance styles, with making it easier for students to select the style that best suits them.
*Lesson plan will be prepared by instructor

K Pop Introductory
Through light-hearted and upbeat choreography paired with Korean pop music, students will learn more about K-Pop.

Ballet Introductory
Class will start with floor exercise – some stretching,floor barre to experience specific muscle we needed in our ballet training .Following up with some simple barre work similar to our floor barre. And ended with a bit centre work to find the weight of the body.

Muscle Toning and Cardio Training
The class will combine different muscle building exercise and cardiovascular training. Reduce body fat and toning muscle, improve body posture and stamina, increase the health of the joints and muscle, and strengthen the body mobility and stability.

Pilates Mat Work
This mat-work class is designated to help participants develop core stability, achieve connections with the core and the extremities, and improve muscle imbalance and posture alignment.

Instructor

Born in Hong Kong, Yam is a graduate of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He has been the recipient of numerous scholarships and performed Don Quixote for Hong Kong Ballet and La Sylphide & Le Conservatoire – Bournonville School for Hong Kong Ballet Group. Yam has attended Hong Kong Spring Intensive by Royal Ballet School and B12 Berlin Workshop Festival in Germany, where he studied contemporary dance. He was selected to participate in a collaborative initiative with Akram Khan Company, taking a production residency and starring in Jungle Book Reimagined’s world premiere in Leicester, United Kingdom in 2022. His sole choreographic work is The Suite. He joined CCDC in 2022 as dance artist trainee.

Lighting WONG

Lighting Wong obtained several Pilates instructor qualifications after graduating with a Dance Degree from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2008. To enrich her knowledge of exercise therapy, including sports injury prevention, rehabilitation programs, and optimum sports performance in evidence-based support and practical skills. She is pursuing a Sports Therapy Degree at the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong.

Born in Hong Kong.
Ng started her ballet training at age of four and received Vocational Exam syllabus – Advanced 1 certificate.
Ng graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (Contemporary Dance) in 2014.
Ng co-choreographed and performed <In the air between our particles> (supported by HKADC) with Li Ka-Man.
Ng established MinMin Movement Workshop to share body movement education with children and adults.
Ng currently active as a freelance Movement Coach, dance instructor and choreographer.

Annie is currently a freelance dancer, choreographer, dance teacher and singing bowl therapist. Annie graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in contemporary dance. During her study, Annie was invited to cooperate with international choreographers, including Gabrielle Nankivell, Dam Van Huynh, Jaime Redfern, Christine Gouzelis, John Utans, Cho Yi, Li Yongjing. She also performed in The 4th HK Butoh Festival, HK Dance Award, HSBC Community Festival.

In this several years, she cooperates with different local dance companies and Nongovernmental Organizations as the teaching artist and performer, including E-side Dance Company, CCDC Dance Centre Outreach department, CCDC, Rice Journey Studio, TWGHs, Caritas HK.

Her recent performance including Voyage by Rice Journey Production, The Rite of spring and Dance at Dawn by CCDC, The rose of the name by Trinity Theatre.
