Summer Children Dance Performing & Technique Class
The 1-week courses will focus on performance training and technique for children. By practicing with music, the lessons will let them enhance their sense of rhythm, and improve their coordination and flexibility. They can also learn how to work with the team, and boost their self-confidence.

Course Content
Cartoon Song & Dance Training Course
This course will using familiar cartoon music and songs (such as Disney classics), children will develop body coordination, enhance flexibility. Through rehearsals, they will also learn the value of teamwork and cooperation, and will complete selected segments of the cartoon songs with in a week.
Mix Dance
Through learning the basic techniques of three main dance styles (Ballet, Contemporary Dance and Jazz), to inspire dance embodied cognition and interest.
Musical Sing and Dance
Basic on Musical Sing & Dance training rhythmic sense and Dance Combo training body coordination.
Hip Hop & Pop Jazz
Basic Hip Hop techniques will be taught in this course. Teacher will do choreography with popular Hip Hop Dance Music to prepare students for getting on the real stage.
K-Pop
This course will be using K-Pop music with simple steps and basic dance skills to train up the sensibility of rhythm and body coordination.

- Students’ parents / guardians are welcome to attend the “Open class & Mini showcase” which takes place at the 20 minutes before the last lesson in each course. Students can invite at most 2 parents / guardians attend session. Parents / guardians could take photos and videos only with instructors’ approval.
- An attendance certificate will be provided if the attendance rate reaches 80% or above.
Instructors

Wei Ming-PAK is an independent choreographer and performing dance artist based in Hong Kong. He graduated in 2008 from the City University of Hong Kong with a Certificate in Fitness, Health and 2013 with a BFA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
During his studies, Pak was awarded the HKSAR Government Reaching Out Scholarship Fund and was also given multiple opportunities to participate in the Guangzhou and Beijing Dance Festival through City Contemporary Dance Company’s scholarships.
He was awarded the European Organization’s full DanceWEB programme scholarship to participate in ImPulsTanz Vienna International Dance Festival 2013.Where he worked with USA base artist Trajal Harrell (RITE OF SUMMER) and Montpellier Dance Festival and Pompidou Center in France 2015 (The Ghost of Montpellier Meet the Samurai).
Pak has choreographed and produced works independently since 2009; including: One Minute Jumping Frames Dance Video Competition INNERMOST, ROBOT (Dance Video Works), LOST IN THE CITY (Site-Specific Works) which was invited to be performed at Hong Kong Arts Centre’s . TINT and INTERPRETATIONS 2 (Stage Works) which were selected by City Contemporary Dance Company to be performed at the Beijing and Guangdong Dance Festival. Pak has frequently taken part in cultural exchanges in Taiwan, Israel and France.
